Mitragynine is a indole alkaloid found in the leaves of the Kratom plant (Mitragyna Speciosa). It is the primary active ingredient in kratom and is responsible for its mild psychoactive effects. It is also the main alkaloid found in White Rabbit Energy drinks. At low doses, mitragynine has a stimulating effect, increasing energy and alertness.

Mitragyna Speciosa is a tropical evergreen that is primarily grown in the Southeast Asian region. This plant is indigenous to the tropical climates of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea.
