The Mushroom Saloon Style™ method uses a 1 lb grain to 2.5 lb Dirt Bags™ substrate ratio, mixed and formed into a raised central mound inside the Mud Tub Flush Box™. This design keeps substrate off the tub walls, allowing clean side water channels to form and dramatically reducing side pinning.
Clean preparation, controlled airflow, and proper hydration are the foundation of this technique — and every component in this kit is built around those principles.
