Purpose-Built Monotub. Engineered to Eliminate Side Pins.
The Mud Tub Flush Box™ is a precision-built monotub designed around our Saloon Style cultivation technique, engineered to maximize clean flushes while virtually eliminating side pinning — one of the most common failures in traditional monotubs.
Each tub starts as a durable container and is then professionally modified with two precision-placed airflow ports on each long side. These ports are installed at an exact height based on our proven substrate depth and are fitted with 4-inch, 22-micron filter patches to provide clean, passive airflow without drying out the grow.
The Mud Tub Flush Box™ is optimized for our proprietary Saloon Style™ ratio:
1 lb grain spawn
2.5 lb sterilized monotub substrate
After mixing, the substrate is formed into a raised central mound, intentionally kept away from the tub walls. This design creates clean water channels on both sides, allowing excess moisture to collect without substrate contact — a key factor in achieving zero side pinning.
No dirt on the walls. No pins where you don’t want them.
To further control light and humidity at the substrate edge, the Mud Tub Flush Box™ features a 2-inch blacked-out lower perimeter. This helps deter side pinning if users choose to run deeper substrate levels where contact with the tub walls may occur.
The lid is equipped with:
Clamp-style locking handles
Integrated foam gasket seal
This ensures consistent humidity and CO₂ levels throughout colonization and fruiting while still allowing proper filtered gas exchange through the side ports.
Designed to reduce or eliminate side pinning
Precision-drilled airflow ports (two per long side)
4-inch, 22-micron filter patches
Optimized for 1 lb grain + 2.5 lb substrate
Central mound design with clean side water channels
Blacked-out lower perimeter for light control
Clamp-seal lid with foam gasket
Ideal for consistent, repeatable flushes
The Mud Tub Flush Box™ isn’t just a container — it’s a controlled fruiting environment, built to work the way growers actually grow.
